[edit] Summary

Oxford University Half Blue blazer and tie (specifically, the Oxford University Rifle Club Half Blue blazer)

This blazer has been largely phased out of use due to its prohibitive price(~400GBP), and replaced by an identical blazer to that awarded to full blues(~175GBP). The only difference now visible is that half blues have white piping on the top of the pocket, necessitating the club crest being lower down on the pocket.

N.B. This design is still worn by a number of clubs including the Rifle Club due to historical associations (the half-blue itself and original jacket design were created specifically for a small number of clubs, including the Rifle Club). Some have interpreted this as a form of economic snobbery, perpetuating the alienation of what is already a marginalised sport.
