The BDSM "Ownership flag", as devised by Tanos for the purpose of symbolizing the ownership subculture of those who want to be owners or owned in a relationship.[1] It includes a shield symbolizing head-of-household status, with superimposed collar symbolizing owned status (which also of course looks like an O for "ownership").

The statement on the Tanos site page says "All of the designs and image files on this page are copyright, but may be reproduced freely for commercial or non-commercial purposes, without prior permission. That is, you may use the Flag design on your own websites, publications, T-shirts, mugs, whatever - whether for personal use or for commercial gain."[2]

This vector SVG version of the flag symbol was converted from version 1.002 of the Ownership flag and icons font by AnonMoos, downloadable at [3]

For another "alternative lifestyle" flag by Tanos, see Image:BDSM-rights-flag-Tanos.svg .
