[edit] Ethnicity in lead sentence

I removed this person's ethnicity from the LEAD sentence, but it was added back in per relevance. Can this be fleshed out further? TIA --Tom 14:36, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

I've expanded, but really, the whole article was about black poetry before. Dodson taught at Howard and Spelman, two black colleges, and the long quotation is primarily about Countee Cullen and Langston Hughes. Chick Bowen 17:00, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi Chick Bowen, thanks for the reply and editing. The article looks better IMHO. I try to edit LEAD sentences per MOSBIO. I am currently working on "African Americans". If you feel I have edited in error, just let me know and hopefully we can work it out. Cheers, --Tom 19:39, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
