Owethu Mbira (b. ) is a South African boxer who won bronze at lightweight at the All African Games 2007.

At the AllAfricans he upset local Hamza Kramou but was defeated by Saifeddine Nejmaoui.
At the world championships he lost to Georgian Vasil Qazishvili.
