Not all fish reproduce by external fertilization. A well known case of this is in the livebearing fish commonly found in the aquarium trade such as guppies, mollies, platies and swordtails. Sting rays also reproduce by internal fertilization. I just can't seem to come up with a good way to re-word this article.
