[edit] Original Recording
Overloved is a song written by Diane Warren, a Grammy-Award winning songwriter, for Raven-Symone for her third studio album,This is My Time, and was recorded in 2004. The song was produced by Afanasieff, a Grammy-Award winning songwriter and producer.
This song was pushed by fans to be the 2nd single, in the hopes it would catapult Raven amongst other R&B crooners, such as Beyonce and Brandy, as the song is a mature vibe for Raven, but Hollywood Records did not release any other singles from This is My Time after the failure of Backflip (to crack any R&B charts).
[edit] Covers
Paula Deanda did a cover of the song in 2006, for her eponymous debut.
Raven sang the song with a soulful R&B flavor, whilst Paula decided to go more contemporary pop.
[edit] Trivia
Ironically, Paula Deanda's favorite television show is That's So Raven. (which may indicate the desire to cover a Raven-Symone song.)
