Ouch there is no such things as an F6 tronado and the template 'Tornado Chart' does not include that option. Also templates work a certain way, you can't specify random parameters. TimL 13:48, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Typhoon Ida

I see you made an article for Typhoon Ida. Creating your first article can be quite daunting, and unless it's of a good enough quality, with sufficient information, it might be merged. The Ida article is rather short, and is practically a copy and paste of the season article. If you want to make an Ida article that will stay, you should dedicate some more research to the subject, and go into depth for its storm history and impact. You say damages were heavy, but can you ellaborate? Creating an article on a storm in that time period might be very difficult, due to lack of information. It's great to have a user interested in that area, but rather than making an article, would you consider expanding typhoon season articles? Many season articles only have a few storms mentioned, yet there is more information out there on the other storms. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. This file name is too generic to be practical. Please reupload the image to a more specific file name. --Coredesat 04:16, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

I've reverted your reupload. Please upload it to a different file name. --Coredesat 22:53, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:Hurrricane Felix.jpg

Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Hurrricane Felix.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:39, 3 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:MonsonTS 96 rgb.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:MonsonTS 96 rgb.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 18:37, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:MonsonTS 96 rgb.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:MonsonTS 96 rgb.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Remember the dot (talk) 19:24, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:Hurricane Chart

A tag has been placed on Template:Hurricane Chart requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{tranclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 21:35, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
