Otyg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Otyg is a Folk music/Viking metal band from Sweden, featuring Andreas Hedlund, the frontman for Vintersorg.
During their existence, Otyg released several albums with songs written in traditional Scandinavian folk style, and featuring traditional Scandinavian instruments not frequently heard in traditional "metal" music, such as the keyed fiddle and willow flute. Currently, though, the band is still in existence, it is on hold owing to Andreas Hedlund's lack of inspiration for further projects relating to the band.
