My name is Rasmus Havhus. This is my real name, I write poetry under a pseudonym and translate for a living.

My main interests are civil liberties, personal freedom, personal responsibility, the future of intellectual rights, absolute democracy (one person one voice), the oppressor/oppressed scenario (mostly people's reasons for not fighting against superiority in money or brute force), all in all issues that deal with the concept of freedom. As Lessig says: Not Free as in Free Beer. Meaning it is a description of a process, an ongoing evolution. Ownership over possions and self is something that has changed a lot over time. Today it varies not so much from culture to culture. Most differences are found in comparison between certain religious practices and captitalism: How not to let accumulation own you, and how to own as much as possible. Today normality is found in individual ownership. It is encapsulated in the old saying: Divide and conquor - if everybody think of their own possessions and defend them with their life, they will have little cause to join forces against their government. If ownership is god, having stuff is the only way to transcend, to be one with god.

I kind of disagree with this.
