Osteomeles schweriniae is a species of plant native to china. Its flowers are white and resembles those hawthorn. It produce small white round berries which are actually pome. The fruits are edible and are best eaten raw, but can be use to make jellies and jams. The fruit have a very sweet flavor. It is grown in gardens as ornamental plant. It is also use to make bonsai. They can be found in Yunnan and Western Sichuan.
