Ossie Swartz

Ossie Swartz [1] is the current Bishop of Kimberley and Kuruman. He was born in 1953 and educated at St Paul's College Grahamstown and ordained in 1980. He began his career with a Curacy in Welkom and held a number of pastoral posts in the Church before becoming Archdeacon of Mafikeng. Further promotion to be the Dean of Pretoria lead in turn to his elevation to the Episcopate in 2007[2].
