The name Osman Digna appears to be the fittest name for him. He was called Usman Digna by certain people. Prior to 1882 he was called Osman Ali. His father's name may have been Nisbet, a European, though Nisbet is said to have died when Osman Digna was about 13 years old. Superslum 18:33, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Osman Digna died in 1926, not 1900
