Osmond Brock

Admiral of the Fleet Sir Osmond de Beauvoir Brock KCB, KCMG, KCVO (1869 -1947) was a Royal Navy officer.

Appointed midshipman in 1886, Brock became a gunnery specialist. During World War I Admiral Brock participated in naval engagements in the North Sea including the Battle of Heligoland Bight, the Battle of Dogger Bank and the Battle of Jutland.

Brock was appointed Chief of Staff to Commander-in-Chief, Grand Fleet, the Deputy Chief of Naval Staff and Lord Commissioner, Admiralty, Commander-in-Chief, Mediterranean and Commander-in-Chief, Portsmouth. He retired in 1934.
