"In 1977, the Iraqi government ordered the construction of Osirak (also spelled Osiraq) at the Al Tuwaitha Nuclear Research Center, 18 km (11 miles) south-east of Baghdad."

The article on Osirak (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osirak) states:

"It was constructed by the Iraqi government at the Al Tuwaitha Nuclear Research Center, 18 km (11 miles) south-east of Baghdad in 1977."

The picture shows Osirak as being West of Baghdad.
