Osama Abdel Latif Dawood is the chairman of the DAL Group based in Khartoum, Sudan. He is married to Samia Osman & they have 6 children; Nadia, Leila, Amir, Sara, Dina and Omar.

Dal Group of companies include: Dal Motors (TEMSA, Mitsubishi & Mercedes Benz), Dal Engineering, Dal Food (Sayga flour, the Blue Nile Dairy, Nobo Pasta & exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola in Sudan), Dal Agriculture, Sutrac & The Sudanese Liquid Air Co. as well as others. The Dal Group has also founded the Khartoum International Community School. He has also founded the Alsunut Development Co, a joint venture with the National Social Insurance Fund. The Alsunut Co. is building Almogran – Khartoum’s new business and residential district strategically located at the confluence of the Blue and White Niles.
