An Orthodork is a zealous Orthodox Christian. Typically they're a convert to the Eastern Orthodox Church during their adulthood. Often they are well educated, well read, and generally intellectual. They enjoy discussions over [jurisdictional boundaries], [calendar issues], and other how-to's with regards to Orthodoxy. Typically they live in [North America] or another non-Orthodox area such as [England] or [France]. Many of them have a long conversion trail traveling through many other Christian denomenations often starting in Evangelical Protestantism. They are often large consumers of modern media such as [blogs], podcasts, and more.

The largest known group of Orthodorks began their trek to Orthodoxy in the 60's, taking over 15 years to finally be received into the Orthodox Christian Church. However, the term "Orthodork" wasn't used until after the turn of the millenium by a group of self-proclaimed "Orthodorks" who are parishoners of the Catheral in Wichita, Kansas.
