Where did it get its name Ormoc?--Jondel 08:43, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Removed copyvio
Sorry for the revert without explanation. I was confirming Seav's earlier revert. The "History" section added by anon IP 205.132.171.201 was copied from: http://www.mission.net/philippines/tacloban/page.php?lang=eng&pg_id=1750. That anon user did the same thing on many Leyte towns, they will be a pain to revert. I'm hoping we get word that they're copied with permission or in the public domain. -Eisnel (talk) 02:24, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] please stop removing RELEVANT external links in philippines cities. you are not doing people any favor, trust me! I live here! It is sooo difficult to find any info about anything here.
DUDE... Why are you removing relevant links, but you have left links to garbage photos and content with limited helpful info. It is extremely difficult to find any info about many things in philips. I live here. I know what it's like trying to find something on the internet about the philippines-- hence the RELEVANT link inserted. If you've never lived, visited or tried researching anything about the philippines (esp some of the smaller towns with no electric, no running water, etc), then perhaps you should leave the links here as it is perfectly clear that the link was relevant and helpful, contrary to the FOR-PROFIT unhelpful and bias "TRAVEL" guide links that you allow. Either leave the link, or remove them all. Or... turn this over to someone with more knowledge about the philippines who will surely inform you that ANY info about the philips is helpful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.212.23.253 (talk) 03:41, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
