Orlando Anderson

Orlando Tive "Baby Lane" Anderson (August 13, 1974 - May 29, 1998) was an affiliate of the Southside Crips and is the person some believe was involved in the murder of American rapper Tupac Shakur. The two were involved in a scuffle in the late hours of September 7, 1996, which many believe led Anderson to shoot Shakur later that night.[1] Stories circulated that Anderson bragged about shooting the rapper, which he denied in interviews.[2] One of the other theories were that Suge Knight killed Tupac Shakur.
On May 29, 1998 Orlando Anderson, Michael Stone, and his nephew, Jerry Stone were in a shootout outside a carwash in Compton, California. They died at King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles. Michael Reed Dorrough was wounded and later arrested in connection with the shooting. No one was ever charged with murder. [3]
When he was killed, Anderson was 23 years old.
