[edit] Median income for Males vs. Females?
Males had a median income of $0 versus $65,432 for females.
I removed this, since it didn't sound right (median income of $0?). If anyone has the correct data available, please add it back. --Ori.livneh 23:35, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] How to edit
Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.
[edit] Orinda Changes
I really didn't feel that the page of Orinda should be a disambiguation page, so I made a seperate disambiguation page, had Orinda point to Orinda, California, and added a disambiguaiton article tag at the top of Orinda, California. However, I messed up a bit in the process, and I apolgize for that. Manfrin 05:32, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Martian crater
There is a crater on Mars named "Orinda" named after this town... no I am not kidding. 68.8.108.62 10:39, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orinda name
Orinda was named after one of the rancher's daughters. I do not know their full names but I deleted the incorrect reason for the name Orinda. The information is available in the book of Orinda's history available in the Orinda Library but I am out of the city now and thus cannot go myself.
- Maybe, maybe not, but you left the sentence a mess. Reverting until naming determined and properly fixed. --Fizbin 16:08, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
- The history page on the City of Orinda web site confirms the story as written: http://www.ci.orinda.ca.us/history/briefhistory.htm --Fizbin 17:54, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Famous people
Just wanted to add that Chris Bauer went to Miramonte High School in Orinda. Noticed that while looking up actors from The Wire... an awesome show. His IMDB page confirms this fact (in his trivia). Easymac08 (talk) 07:23, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
