The Original Halloween Kiss is a type of confection manufactured by the BonBons AssociƩs company out of Quebec City, Quebec. The rectangular-shaped bite-sized candies have been a long-standing Canadian Halloween treat given out to children while trick-or-treating. Known for their distinctive molasses flavouring and identifiable wrapping (see photo), they are particularly interesting as the majority of Canadian children dislike the strong taste of the molasses used to create the candy.[citation needed] This results in a type of tradition where an excess of the confections ultimately end up left over after all the other Halloween candy has long since been eaten.[citation needed]
