Original 21

Original 21 is the largest and most dedicated AEK Athens supporters club. The first attempt to organise AEK supporters was Gate 21 (formed in 1975), which took its name from the gate in the Nikos Goumas Stadium, Nea Filadelfia, where the most hardcore fans gathered. Dissilusioned by the direction Gate 21 was taking, a handful of supporters broke away in 1982 and created their own club, naming it Original 21. They took over the lower tier of the then-new double stand, which they nicknamed "Skepasti".
United by their determination to follow AEK everywhere and to maintain a family feel within the organisation, they have succeeded in becoming a legendary club among Greek and European fandom. Their headquarters, in the Exarchia area by Alexandras Avenue, has been purchased with funding raised by the fans and today forms the heart of a world-wide organisation of supporter clubs all over Greece, Europe, the USA, and Australia. The club's spokesperson is Dimitris Chatzichristos.
