Organic breaks is a style of dance music, specifically breakbeat, that is comprised of raw, authentic funk drums and musical influence wherever possible.[clarify] Coined in 2006 by breakbeat act M.I. Loki, tracks such as Enthusiasm and Get Raw define this sub-genre.
this style was also adopted by precision cuts in 1999 who called it smartbreaks
