- This page is a reference to a local an orginization that promotes education within the outdoor community on safety issues and wilderness travel. The fact they have sustained their small business in a world of REI's and Backcountry.com's by going online with their services also invites discussion as noted by the interest by their local chamber of commerce. --unsigned by Bridge city

- Hi. I agree with Ozgod. Everything in Wikipedia must be verifiable in reliable sources. The article as written is also a copyright violation from here. I'm removing the speedy notice as notability is asserted and not impossible, but I'd encourage the author either find references or blank the article and request deletion. If not, WP:AFD is the path forward. Thanks, William Pietri 02:05, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- Added references to the text source for the history of Oregon Mountain Commuity as well as local news and outdoor organization references to their involvement with the climbing and backpacking community. Added appropriate categories they are a member of as well as tags. --Bridge city 17:46, 21 May 2007 (PST)
- I edited rather drastically to something less press release-like; however, there's not a lot left. At least it's no longer a copyvio. Wombatcat 02:00, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
