Oregon's 1st congressional district is a United States Congressional District that represents the northwest corner of Oregon and includes southwest Portland, Oregon. It includes Clatsop, Columbia, Washington, and Yamhill counties, and part of Multnomah county.
The district has been represented by Democrat David Wu since his election in 1998. In the 2006 election, Wu defeated Republican candidate Derrick Kitts, Libertarian candidate Drake Davis, and Constitution candidate Dean Wolf.
