The order of precedence in Romania is a symbolic hierarchy of officials in Romania used to direct protocol. It is written in Article 98 of the Romanian Constitution.

  1. Preşedintele (President of Romania), currently Traian Băsescu.
  2. Preşedintele Senatului (President of the Romanian Senate), currently Nicolae Văcăroiu.
  3. Preşedintele Camerei Deputaţilor (President of the Chamber of Deputies), currently Bogdan Olteanu.

The two presidents are seconded by their vice-presidents.
