Oratia

Oratia is a suburb of west Auckland, New Zealand. In comparison to the rest of Auckland, Oratia is a quiet community although West Coast Rd is often used for holiday makers to get to Piha, a very popular West Coast beach.

Oratia has the basic essentials of a small town hall and a big Girl Guide complex, which hosts weddings and other functions.

The Oratia School and the Church are an important part of this family oriented community.^{[citation needed]}
