Ophiel is an Olympian spirit in the Grimoire Arbatel de magia veterum, ruling over Mercury.

Ophiel also appears on a door in the video game Silent Hill. The door can only be opened with the "Key of Ophiel" and leads to a section which the protagonist must enter in order to progress in the game.
