Ophelia Hoff Saytumah

Ophelia Hoff Saytumah is a politician in Liberia. She is the current mayor of Monrovia (Liberia's capital). She is the first woman mayor of Monrovia in the more than 180 years since Monrovia's establishment. In 2005, Hoff Saytumah did not run for any senatorial seat. She was asked but declined.[She has remained Mayor since her appointment in 2001.

Ophelia Saytumah is the second lady mayor of Monrovia. Her Ladyship Ellen Brathwait Sandemanie was the first lady mayor of the City of Monrovia. She succeeded Mayor Nathan Ross, in 1971 and preceded Mayor Edward David in 1974.
