The Steve Perry quote (footnote 2 in the article) was about his reaction to the concert version of Open Arms, when he was working on the remix of the Houston 1981 concert. In context of the interview, he's clearly describing that he felt the concert version was better than the studio version. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.199.56.66 (talk • contribs) 22:11, 6 May 2006.

I disagree with the proposal for the article to be split, since 1) "Open Arms" is one song that happens to have been recorded by several artists, 2) the article is well under the 32kb size limit and 3) there isn't enough information on any of the cover versions to warrant their own separate articles. Well, since there's been no further discussion of this issue, I'm removing the split proposal notice. Extraordinary Machine 21:34, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
