Ontolograph is a word supposedly made up by Jessi Webb. It's fictitious definition is a photographic image that attempts to show truth or an example of being or existence. Jessi Webb has used the word as her avatar name on many social networking sites starting in 2006. It was first used in the book Perdido Street Station, by China Miéville published in 2001. The word ontolograph is a combination of the words ontology and photograph .
