Welcome to my personal page at the English Wikipedia.

My name is Onno Zweers, Linux cluster/grid administrator at SARA. From time to time I try to contribute a bit to both the English and the Dutch Wikipedia.

My specialties are:

• Greece, and more specific: Epirus. My wife is from there, and our children have the Greek nationality (together with the Dutch). I started the article on Konitsa, and on the Vikos-Aoos National Park. This panorama of the Vikos gorge was made by me; the person in the picture is my good friend Giorgos Papaioannou.
• Photography, especially in Epirus, but also nature photos (taken with a Nikon D70s, sometimes with a Nikkor 60mm macro lens) and landscape photos, sometimes panoramas I stitch together with Panavue Image Assembler.
• Spell checking, grammar checking, editing and wikifying. I do this whenever I happen to bump in on things that can be improved, regardless of the subject.
