| Editing Guidelines |
|
Please remember these guidelines when editing a film article:
- If a non-film article already exists with the name of the film that you are trying to create an article for, disambiguate and use (film) in the title: Film Title (film)
- When writing an article about a particular film, the general format should be a concise lead section, followed by a plot summary of no more than 900 words, production details, a cast list, a reception section, and references.
- Create an Infobox that tells all pertinent information about the film.

[edit] Revert back to Only Yesterday
I feel this should be reverted back to Only Yesterday, because this is the name it is referred to by Disney and by Ghibli's website Nausicaa.net. This is the English Wikipedia, and the English name should be used. Casey14 23:42, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
- Nausicaa.net is NOT related at all to Studio Ghibli. It is a FAN-MADE and OPERATED site. Your linguistic bigotry aside, if we're going to translate the title of the film, it should be ACCURATE. Memories like Raindrops is perhaps too literal, but it's far closer than "Only Yesterday".
[edit] About the flowers recolted
What is the name of the spiny orange flowers recolted by the main character ? --Pixeltoo 22:38, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Ok I got it finally: it's Carthamus. --Pixeltoo 22:44, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- But she refers to them in the film (English ((Aus.)) subtitles) as 'Sarrflower'
