[edit] Don't redirect your userpage to that IP address

I have undone the redirect to the IP address by this talk page and user page. This is because:
  1. There is no proof or certainty that you are the only person to use that IP address and
  2. There is no proof or certainty that you use that IP address and that IP address alone.
Because that IP address is possibly used by multiple users, by redirecting your user talk page to it, you are making a claim to ownership that clearly does not exist. Such claims to ownership are misleading, and under Wikipedia's Username policy you may not use your username/userpage to mislead. Persisting in doing so is disruptive, so please stop.
Additionally, Changing your username may be a good idea, for all of the reasons I have outlined above. If your primary purpose here at Wikipedia is to improve articles, then changing your username may help others collaborate with you more effectively. If you have other motives for being here, I strongly suggest you reconsider your participation in this project. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 05:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
