[edit] Film meaning
A "one sheet" also refers to a specific size (27 inches by 40 inches) of film poster advertising, which grow bigger as the numbers increase (up to billboard size, which if memory serves are 24-sheets). The number refers to amount of individual posters someone had to install (using watery paste) in order to make a complete ad. What most people call "movie posters" in the US are in fact one sheets. There is a wiki page for this: Movie poster RoyBatty42 20:29, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- I've rephrased and added this material to the article, with a {{fact}} tag because we need a reliable source. Thanks for the info! ~ Jeff Q (talk) 20:17, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
