[edit] Illegal?

[edit] Why Illegal?

I know very little about football, and came to this page to find out why 1-bar facemasks are illegal. I assume it's a safety thing, if someone in the know was to add the reason to the article it would be helpful.203.25.230.150 (talk) 04:47, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
