One Pair of Hands was Monica Dickens' first book. I (Kraxler) scanned the cover. The book was first published by Michael Joseph, 1939; this cover belongs to the re-edition by Penguin Books Ltd, Harmondsworth, Middlesex and Penguin Books Pty Ltd, 762 Whitehorse Road, Mitcham, Victoria, Australia, 1961, book number 1535. Printed in Great Britain by C. Nicholls & Company Ltd. The cover drawing is by Dione Tegner.
