Speedy deletion

Just a heads up, high schools generally have inherent "importance" and thus do not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, especially not A7. The best thing to do if you question its notability is to let it go a while, then submit the article for WP:AfD - although in most cases the consensus is the same - keep. Cheers mate! Inherited notability

Hi there! Just dropping a note about your comments at Talk:Alex Gaskarth. I've redirected that article, as alone, the singer is non-notable and fails speedy criteria. Remember that notability is not inherited, and being in a notable band doesn't necessarily mean the band member is notable. Of course, if there are lots of sources on said members, then they can have their separate articles. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 04:15, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
