Omsharan is born on 23 April 1985 in Cisternino, Italy.

The nickname "Omsharan" stands for Om Sharan, an Indian name, meaning "devote of Om". Om Sharan's parents are both Italian, but they met and got married in India, where they used to live many months a year due to their common interest in the teachings of Haidakhan Babaji. This justifies the origin of the name, which often attracts the curiosity of people who meet Om Sharan for the first time.

At the present time, Om Sharan is student of Physics at the University of Milan Bicocca. He is mostly interested in theoretical physics and mathematical models.

Om Sharan is very interested in playing, composing, listening and understanding music. He plays the guitar with three bands in Milan:
- the rock/blues band "Hamelin", of which is a co-founder;
- a hard rock band which still lacks a name, leaded by the singer Paride Sommo;
- the funk/jazz band "Ivocotoplano".
He also sings as a tenor in the Choir of University of Milan Bicocca.
