Shaun Carland Symbolic Recipie

The symbolic recipie was just that-a symbolic recipie. I don’t really know how to reflect this piece of writing though. Usually when I look back on writings I look back on the mistakes, but looking back on this writing, I still find it beautiful.

I can’t tell you or myself where the inspiration for the symbolic recipie came from. Maybe it’s just been a part of me my whole life? I don’t know. I think that however, it is advice that can be used by anyone.

Out of the whole writing portfolio, it, along with Leaf, are my two favorites. Symbolic recipie was the first piece of writing that I did for the portfolio, and I think that it was one of the strongest things I’ve EVER written in my life.

I can’t find anything I regret in it, now, at least. I bet however as I grow as a writer and a person looking back at this, I will find things wrong with it, and be ashamed. But, at the same time, I will be amazed at how insightful I was as a kid.
