[edit] National Team

Mexican National team coach Hugo Sanchez picked him out as a young talent and gave him a spot on the national team. He made his debut to the Mexican National team on October 17, 2007, in the loss to Guatemala 3-2, where he subbed in during the late minutes of the second half. This has been his first and only game so far since Mexico's next game will take place some time in early 2008.

He was recently included in Hugo Sanchez's 25 man Pre-olympic squad tryouts. But he was one of the 5 players that didn't make it to the final Pre-olympic squad.
