Omar & Pete is a 2005 documentary film about Leon "Omar" Mason and William "Pete" Duncan, two men whose poverty and addiction has led to a lifetime of crime. Omar & Pete follows the pair as they struggle to break free of the cycle that continuously takes them from crime on the streets of Baltimore to prison back to crime on the streets of Baltimore. The film also focuses on Maryland's efforts to help more people like Omar and Pete, including organizations like Outreach Extensions.[1]
Omar & Pete was written and produced by Tod Lending and premiered on PBS as part of its Point of View series in 2005.
