Olympus Junior High School

Olympus Junior High School is a public junior high school in Holladay, Utah, near the Wasatch Range. The current principal is Eric Bergmann. The mascot is the Olympus Bulldog. The biggest rival of this school is Evergreen Jr. High, a Junior High school located close to Olympus. Other major rivals of the school include Wasatch Jr. High, Churchill Jr. High, and Eisenhower Jr. High. Olympus Jr. was rebuilt in 2003. Olympus Junior High is the only school in Granite School District that has a dresscode. Yearly Olympus Jr. has its ALL for ALL where each grade competes against the other to see who can be the "loudest and proudest" in the school. Olympus Junior High changed out of block schedule to regular schedule in the school year of 2007-2008.

They are currently working on PROJECT KENYA where they hope to build a library in Nakuru,Kenya.

Olympus Junior High belongs to the Granite School District.

Olympus has won 10 consecutive district wrestling championships under Coach Brough.

They have also won the 2007-2008 boys' basketball, girls' basketball, volleyball, and track and field championships in Granite School District.

The school's recently elected Student Body Officers are as follows: The President is Thomas Hopkins. The Vice President is Nate Sorenson, the secretary is Nico Bronzati, the Historian is Ben Hopes, and representing the Bulldog is Mascot Austin Rasmussen, an accomplished gymnast. All of these Officers will begin serving in their respective positions in 2008-2009.
