The Olympic Axe is a 2000m college rowing (United States) sprint. It is held annually in the spring season in preparation for the Eastern Sprints and IRA regattas.
It is a duel-race between the Dartmouth College and Yale University Heavyweight Crew Teams. The race is named after the battleaxe trophy that is awarded to the winner of the Varsity Eight category.
