olive is a modern food magazine published by BBC Worldwide. It was launched in 2003 and is an upmarket, monthly magazine in the stable that also includes BBC Good Food, bbcgoodfood.com, Easy Cook and Vegetarian Good Food.[1]

The magazine features BBC chefs and broadcasters including Masterchef’s John Torode and Gregg Wallace, Sheila Dillon from Radio 4's The Food Programme, and several chefs from BBC Two’s Great British Menu. Gordon Ramsay also provides a column and recipe each month.

The magazine is divided into three main sections, eat in (easy, seasonal recipes), eat out (restaurant recommendations and reviews) and eat away (food focused travel and recipes from around the world). Many of olive’s recipes are online at bbcgoodfood.com.

The magazine is priced at £3.30.

Licensed editions are also published in Ukraine and Greece.
