Crest of The University of Mississippi; copyright (c) The University of Mississippi; this file is not available online in this form; however, the UM Crest appears in alternate forms (more commonly a smaller version of the same logo usually red but sometimes blue in color) on the website of The University of Mississippi (www.olemiss.edu) and is an official symbol of the university used on the letterhead of most correspondence originating from the university; the University Crest is often confused with the Great Seal of the University, which is an additional logo only used on official university documents
