As a life long Hammers fan and local boy, I've never heard of any association between OCS and West Ham United. Even reading the article as it is, it doesn't sound like the two are related. One club folds, another forms and takes over the ground, and some local players join. Marriage of convenience, yes, worth noting, probably, but not the same club in my view. A citation is thus requested for the reference to West Ham United. Equally, the castle in the badge has been said locally to have referred to Anne Boleyn's castle, but I don't recall ever seeing this recorded anywhere. WillE (talk) 23:00, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
