The Oklahoma Department of Commerce is an agency of the Government of Oklahoma under the Governor of Oklahoma. It is responsible for the stimulation, creation, and retention of jobs, the growth of investment, the development of communities, and the increase of per capita income within the State of Oklahoma.

To increase the quantity and quality of jobs available in Oklahoma by:
- Supporting communities;
- Supporting the growth of existing businesses and entrepreneurs;
- Attracting new businesses; and
- Promoting the development and availability of a skilled workforce.

The Department is administered by the Secretary of Commerce and Tourism and the Executive Director. Governor Brad Henry has appointed Natalie Shirley as Secretary of Commerce and Tourism and Executive Director of the Department of Commerce.
