Should this article be renamed as Okinawa Island? It would seem to be a more natural English name. Jpatokal 15:39, 16 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I think it should be moved back, it's more important to display it under it's real name than trying to give it a "natural English name" which may or may not be the official English name for it. Okinawa Island may also be confused with Okinawa Islands. Finally, hontou means main island, if you want a literal translation... 194.47.220.223 21:47, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
