Oinoussans are by no means shipbrokers and have never been. They are ship owners with families like Lemos (not from Chios), Lyras, Pateras, Hadjipateras, Andreadis, Mangos, Lignos etc. Most live in London or Athens.

There is a distinct difference between a ship broker and a ship owner
