Oiketerion is a Greek word meaning "habitation".[1][2][3] It is used in two places in the Bible: Corinthians&verse=5:2&src=! 2nd Corinthians 5:2[3] and Jude 1:6[3]
[edit] Usages
According to the King James Version translation of the Greek, the specific scriptural usages of the word are:
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.[4]
and
For in this we groan earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:[5]
These texts are used by Chuck Missler to argue in favor of the angel view of Genesis 6.[6]
